See the full story · 1 sourcesNew Radicals , of Nineties hit "You Get What You Give" fame, have released their first new song in nearly 28 years, with the group's "One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)" appearing on the soundtrack for the upcoming rom-com One Night Only.
With the film, "about searching for love on the least romantic night of the year," due out August 7, a portion of its soundtrack was released Friday, including the New Radicals track, King Princess' cover of the disco hit "Love Is in the Air," and a preview of Este Haim's film score, Vulture reported .
"One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)" marks the Gregg Alexander-fronted band's first new original song since New Radicals released their Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too — which included the timeless "You Get What You Give" — in 1998; Alexander disbanded the group the following year.
