KANSAS CITY, KS (KCAU) - A ground-rule double from Braulio Vasquez plated a pair of runs in the top of the tenth inning as the Explorers held off a Monarchs' comeback effort on their way to a 6-5 win.

The victory, combined with a Sioux Falls loss to Cleburne, moves Sioux City into a tie for the final American Association West Division postseason spot with six games remaining.
