Draymond Green is one of the faces of the Golden State Warrior s' franchise. There's no getting around that. The former Michigan State University star has thrived in the NBA and is considered one of the greatest defensive players in the league's history.
But, one NBA analyst thinks his time with the Warriors may be limited. Part of the reason is because things just haven't gone this franchise's way lately. They tried to get LeBron but couldn't. They have a superstar in Stephen Curry but still haven't been able to really deliver.
Now, Marcus Thompson of The Athletic says he believes Green could part ways with the Warriors as early as during this season.

During an interview on the "Plus Minus" podcast , he projected the Warriors would split with Green.
"It's probably six months left for the Draymond Green era," Thompson said. That's not very long.
He added that Green is on a one-year deal, $27.8 million, and it's without a no-trade clause. So, that makes him easy to get traded.
"It felt like this has been coming for a while, but this, the way (Warriors GM) Dunleavy was talking, and the way they positioned it, this feels like 'Alright, let's see where we are in February because if we're not where we need to be, then we're just going to start selling pieces off and starting over," he adds.
Green has been with the Warriors for his entire career in the NBA. It would be strange to see him elsewhere, but stranger things have happened in the NBA.
