Whitney Leavitt is coming back to Broadway this winter.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star will join the cast of Just in Time as Sandra Dee for a six-week run starting Dec. 1 through Jan. 10, 2027. This follows Leavitt making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago earlier this spring, helping the show break its all-time box office record.
Just In Time opened on Broadway in April 2025, starring Jonathan Groff as the singer Bobby Darrin. The biomusical follows his career, and includes some of his hits, such as Mack the Knife, Beyond the Sea and Splish Splash, as the story also delves into his personal life, including his marriage to actress Sandra Dee.
The current cast includes Jeremy Jordan ( The Great Gatsby, Floyd Collins ) as Bobby Darrin, Olivia Holt (Marvel's Cloak & Dagger ) as Connie Francis and Carrie St. Louis (Wicked) as Sandra Dee. The show is one of the rare musicals as of late to have recouped its Broadway capitalization.
Leavitt was originally slated for a six-week run in Chicago beginning in February 2026, but extended the run to three months as the box office took off with her casting.
In addition to competing on Season 34 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars and starring in the film All for Love , Leavitt also launched Leavitt Media House, an independent production company developing both scripted and unscripted projects with her husband Conner Leavitt.
Just In Time on Broadway is produced by Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens and John Frost and directed by Alex Timbers.
