This means that Rodri, Rayan Cherki, Erling Haaland, Elliot Anderson, Nico O’Reilly, Marc Guehi, and James Trafford will not be on the plane to Hong Kong.
Furthermore, Sam Lee reports that it is expected that Antoine Semenyo, Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol will travel with their teammates. Rayan Ait-Nouri Tijjani Reijnders and Omar are all also expected to be in Manchester City’s travelling squad. All told, Enzo Maresca will have a quality selection of players to choose from in Asia. Phil Foden Gianluigi Donnarumma, Rico Lewis, Savinho and Nico Gonzalez all returned to Manchester City last week their participation in City’s tour of Asia is a given.
