A 39-year-old woman was assaulted, tied up with duct tape and robbed of about $343,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables in the Bronx on Thursday, police said.
Police were still looking Sunday for three suspects in connection with the robbery, which investigators said happened around 10:15 p.m. Thursday in the Highbridge section of the Bronx. Police said the suspects forced their way into a residence near West 168th Street and Ogden Avenue while armed with knives and a gun.
According to the NYPD, the three individuals assaulted the woman, removed her clothing, blindfolded her and bound her hands and feet with duct tape.
Police said the suspects stole about $343,000 worth of jewelry, cash, perfumes and a cellphone before fleeing on foot.
The woman sustained multiple injuries and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition, according to police.
