In the club's series opener against the Braves on Monday night, they matched a season high with 19 hits as five different players collected three in a 14-3 victory. Francisco Lindor led the charge with two home runs, a triple and six RBI.
Now, the Mets will be seeking their third straight win as they open a split-admission doubleheader with the Braves at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon at Citi Field.
The Mets have won their last three matchups against the Braves and are 5-3 against their NL East rivals this season in one of the few positive trends from the 2026 season. The Mets enter Tuesday with a 45-62 record, while the Braves lead the division with a 62-44 mark.
