First-round pick Peter Woods — a former Clemson Tigers pass-rusher who is set to play a key role in Kansas City's defense during the upcoming season — was spotted running drills with his teammates in a video that was shared to the Chiefs' official social media channels.
While the slow-motion clip didn't actually show Woods in action, his presence at practice is a welcome sign as Kansas City looks to reinvent its front four in 2026.

— Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs) July 26, 2026 Expected to play as a defensive tackle, Woods will pair with veteran sack-master Chris Jones to generate push against the middle of opposing offensive lines and should have no problem earning snaps as a starter for coordinator Steve Spagnuolo early in the regular season.
