This time, Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro punched himself.
But only figuratively—and jokingly.
Herro is entering his first season with the Bucks , his childhood team, after being traded by the Miami Heat , along with Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, and draft capital in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis Jr.

Antetokounmpo had been linked to the Heat even before the deal, so it was not really surprising. But when a content creator asked Herro about the “craziest trade this offseason,” the 26-year-old guard gave an easy response .
“Tyler Herro for Giannis,” said Herro with a smile.

His dry remark drew mixed reactions from fans.
“Imagine being casually asked about a crazy trade and just dropping your own government name and Giannis in the same sentence,” said @Joesabn.
“He’s still coping hard,” added @BamsBlackberry.
“What’s he supposed to say? All-Star caliber-level player getting traded to his hometown is always gonna be a big story,” wrote @ChiefKuzControl.
“I completely forgot about the Giannis trade. Man, this offseason’s been crazy,” admitted @Jaydenh1_.
“Love the confidence. Herro knows his worth, and he’s not afraid to have fun with it,” commented @sam4se.
Herro’s teammate, Nate Ament, had a similar answer: Antetokounmpo going to the Heat. Ament was part of the draft capital that Miami sent to Milwaukee. The Heat selected him with the No. 13 pick before being shipped to the Bucks.
Herro is eager to play in front of his family and friends in Wisconsin. Safe to say, he will have their games against the Heat circled on his calendar.
