Will Brock Lesnar retire after SummerSlam? Triple H quizzed on post-show plans for WWE star

WWE fans thought that Brock Lesnar had actually retired at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year, but the former UFC talent is still competing inside the squared circle.
Following his match with Oba Femi at Mania 42, Lesnar appeared to call time on his wrestling career and seemed quite emotional after the fight.
However, Brock then returned to WWE and attacked Oba to set up a match at Clash in Italy, which he won.
With the fighters winning one bout each, a decider has now been booked for SummerSlam, which takes place this weekend, yet we still don’t have a clear idea whether it will be Lesnar’s final match with the company.

Triple H says ball in Brock Lesnar’s court regarding WWE future
While promoting the upcoming Premium Live Event, Triple H was recently interviewed by ESPN .
When speaking, he was asked whether Brock is now actually retiring after SummerSlam, but admitted he, like everyone else, has no idea, with the ball very much in Lesnar’s court.
Triple H said: “The one thing that I know more than anything else about Brock Lesnar is that Brock Lesnar is going to do whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do.
“So, when we get to Minnesota, when we get to this match, keep in mind Brock, I believe in his mind, retired at WrestleMania. I believe that wasn’t enough for him. I believe he wanted to come back to prove Oba wrong. He did that. He then wanted to go to Minnesota to SummerSlam, to his hometown. He wanted it inside —- In A Cell.
“He has something here to prove. But the one thing I know about Brock Lesnar is it’s whatever he wants. So win, lose, draw, when that cage goes up, when it’s all over, no matter what the outcome, I’m going to be watching that monitor just like you’re watching the monitor, just like millions of people are going to be watching at home wondering what the —- Brock Lesnar is going to do next.
“It’s really in his court as to what he wants to do.”
So, it seems like fans are going to have to tune into SummerSlam to find out what Lesnar will do.
But given his age and the fact WWE teased one retirement already, it does feel like this match, which should bring the Oba feud to an end, will be Brock’s last.
