Nominees are:
Jakarion Burrell, Brighton: Burrell ran the ball 23 times for 241 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-28 victory over Dyersburg.
Braylon Warren, Collierville: Warren had nine solo tackles, including two for loss, and four assists in a 34-24 loss to Oxford.
Anthony Houston, Cordova: Houston rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-6 victory over Oakhaven. He also threw for 103 yards and a TD.
Brett Godwin, Lakeland Prep: Godwin was 18-of-26 passing for 276 yards and five touchdowns in a 53-26 victory over Bolivar Central.
Logan Clay, Lewisburg: Clay finished first place in the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle, and first in the 200 medley relay to help lead the Patriots to a second-place finish in the Lewisburg Invitational at the University of Memphis.
Drew Knighton, MUS: Knighton shot 36 to win medalist honors in a victory for the Owls (155) over ECS (172) at Mirimichi.
