He was one of the original anchors of SportsCenter, helping establish the energetic style that became synonymous with the program.
He later became the longtime face of NFL PrimeTime, where he worked alongside Tom Jackson, before taking over as host of Sunday NFL Countdown. Berman hosted the pregame show for more than 30 consecutive seasons, from 1985-2016.
His résumé extends well beyond football. Berman covered numerous Super Bowls, World Series, U.S. Opens and the MLB Home Run Derby from 1994-2016.
