Earlier this week, we asked Michigan fans to vote for who they think will be the offensive MVP in 2026. The results are in, and there was a clear winner.
59% of voters chose running back Jordan Marshall, 26% feel quarterback Bryce Underwood will be the offensive MVP, while 8% voted for receiver Andrew Marsh and 7% chose receiver JJ Buchanan.
Marshall had a very good 2025 season despite being RB2 behind Justice Haynes for the first half of the season. In all, Marshall rushed for 932 yards and 10 touchdowns. Marshall ranked No. 27 in the nation with 6.2 yards per carry. Marshall is now Michigan’s RB1 and could be primed for a big season based on his skills and who Michigan’s new offensive coordinator is — Jason Beck. The Utah rushing offense ranked No. 2 in the nation last season with Beck as OC, which would seem to bode well for Marshall to have a potentially prolific 2026 campaign.
Michigan’s season gets underway on Sept. 5 when they face Western Michigan at Michigan Stadium. Per FanDuel Sportsbook , Michigan is currently a 27.5-point favorite.
