See the full story · 1 sourcesIt has been a busy week of news for the USC football program. However, the Trojans men’s basketball team also recently got an update, and a much less positive one.
On Monday, USC announced that UConn transfer Eric Reibe underwent surgery on his foot on Friday. The team did not provide any further updates on his recovery timeline.
As a freshman at UConn last year, Reibe averaged 5.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He transferred to USC earlier this offseason.
If Reibe has to miss significant time, the Trojans will be forced to lean more heavily on their other players. USC will have proven veteran production in Rodney Rice, KJ Lewis, Jacob Cofie, and Jalen Cox. Eric Musselman’s team will also have notable young talent in Alijah Arenas, Christian Collins, Adonis Ratliff, and Darius Ratliff.
The Trojans will open up their 2026-2027 season in early November. The team’s full schedule will be announced at a later date.
