Where do the Jacksonville Jaguars currently sit in the waiver wire order following roster cutdown day?
The reason that this is important is that after the initial 53-man rosters are set, many of the released players from around the NFL will be subject to waivers.
If the Jaguars want to add a released player from another team to their 53-man roster, they will put in a claim. If multiple teams put in a claim, then that player goes to the team with the higher priority, which at this time of the year is determined by the original 2026 draft order before trades.
With 53-man rosters needing to be set by 6:00 PM ET on Sunday, any waiver claims must be submitted by 1:00 PM ET on Monday.
