The 2026 Little League World Series action continues with an exciting international matchup between Mexico and Japan on Tuesday in a high-stakes, win-or-go-home game to kick off the day's lineup.
Mexico started their tournament strong, dominating the Australia region with a 7-1 victory in their opening game. However, their momentum was halted in their second game, when they fell 8-4 to Nicaragua − the Latin America Region representative.
Japan began their Little League World Series campaign with a tough 6-0 loss to Curacao, but quickly rebounded with a dominant 10-1 win over the Dominican Republic − the Caribbean Region team.
Now, the stakes couldn’t be higher, only the winner between Mexico and Japan will keep their Little League World Series journey alive, while the other will be eliminated from the tournament.
