It's the beginning of the end for the WandaVision trilogy, as Marvel unveiled a first-look trailer for VisionQuest and set an Oct. 14 premiere date.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige brought out stars Paul Bettany, who stars as the synthetic member of the Avengers, as well as James Spader, who returns as Ultron, the villain from 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron.
"It's been an enormous joy playing Vision as he's evolved through the years, helped turned the tide in some enormous battles… rather inconveniently died a number of times … Although I'm told in the Marvel universe no one is really dead, unless Kevin says they are," Bettany said, before unveiling a trippy first trailer.
Picard showrunner Terry Matalas is behind VisionQuest .
The series follows the 2021 serise WandaVision , which dealt with Wanda Maximoff's (Elizabeth Olsen) grief after the death of Vision in Avengers: Infinity War . The story continued with Agatha All Along (2024), centered on WandaVision antagonist Agatha (Kathryn Hahn).
Bettany has been with the Marvel Cinematic Universe since it's dawn, when he voiced TonyS tark's AI assistant Jarvis in 2008's Iron Man . He first played Vision in Age of Ultron , and in addition to the live-action movies and TV shows, has voiced the character in the aniamted series What If…?
