TMZ has obtained and published bodycam video and audio from both his initial traffic stop and his field sobriety test.
The first video shows his initial traffic stop. After Romo is told that he needs to submit to a field sobriety test, Romo repeatedly asks if he can call his lawyer. The deputy repeatedly tells Romo he can't.
He then appears to proceed with the call. When the deputy calls for further assistance, he agrees to comply.
Because he was pulled over on a busy highway (and a bridge), the officer explains that she'll be taking him to a level area for the test.
In the second video, Romo conducts the test in bare feet. He seems to not understand the instructions for a fairly simple heel-to-toe walking exercise.
"Do you understand the instructions?" he's asked.
"No," Romo says. "I don't. There's too many."
He also explains that he has had "two back surgeries" before engaging in the heel-to-toe walking test. With each step, his heel lands far in front of his toe.
Romo then is asked to stand on one leg. Initially, he can't decide which leg to use. After he picks his left leg, Romo uses his arms to help balance himself.
After the deputy stops the test, Romo is asked if he'll submit to breath testing.
"We're not doing that," Romo says. "I hear from all the lawyers, 'Don't ever do that.' So we're not gonna do that."
Romo then asks, "Did I pass this test?"
"Turn around," the deputy replies.
"No, I didn't. Huh?"
As the arrest process begins, Romo asks if he can make a call because "there's a plane taking off." He is then told he's under arrest.
