Who will be Eugene-Springfield's top boys soccer player in 2026?
With the start of the fall sports season just around the corner, The Register-Guard is putting a spotlight on the area's top athletes. We are continuing this year's preseason coverage with a look at Lane County's top boys soccer players.
Now, it's time for you to decide which athlete is the best of the bunch.
This year's nominees are:

Mason Allenbaugh, South Eugene
As a junior last season, South Eugene's Mason Allenbaugh earned first-team all-Southwest Conference honors while helping his school capture the league title. He will lead the Axe frontline once again this fall and figures to be one of the top returners in the conference.
Luca Burns, Sheldon
Sheldon's Luca Burns earned second-team all-Southwest Conference honors in midfield last season. He was one of just two 10th-graders to earn first- or second-team recognition.
Canaan Burke, Willamette
As a junior in 2025, Willamette defender Canaan Burke garnered second-team all-Southwest Conference honors after helping the Wolverines reach the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
Daelyn Cervantes, Willamette
A first-team all-Southwest Conference selection last season, Willamette senior Daelyn Cervantes helped lead the Wolverines to a Class 6A second-round playoff appearance.
Evan Coffman, Marist Catholic
One of the top returning forwards in Class 4A, Marist Catholic's Evan Coffman was an honorable mention all-state selection for the Spartans last season.
Henry DeJong, South Eugene
South Eugene's all-conference goalkeeper, Joey Lacey, has graduated. Rising senior Henry DeJong will take over the starting role for the Axe as they look to defend their league title.
Rylan Dye-Blondell, Sheldon
Sheldon senior defender Rylan Dye-Blondell earned first-team all-Southwest Conference recognition last season after helping lead the Irish to a Class 6A state playoff appearance.
Aaron Familio, South Eugene
A transfer from Roseburg who earned second-team all-Southwest Conference honors in 2025, senior forward Aaron Familio will play a big role in his debut season with the Axe.
Henry Light, Churchill
Even though he was just a sophomore last season, Churchill's Henry Light earned Class 5A honorable mention all-state and first-team all-Midwestern League recognition.
Zaydin Morscheck, Springfield
The top returning goalkeeper in the Midwestern League, Springfield rising senior Zaydin Morscheck was a first-team all-league pick in 2025.
Alonzo Reyes, Churchill
A Class 5A third-team all-state selection last season, Churchill's Alonzo Reyes is back for his senior year and figures to be one of the top returning forwards in 5A.
Easton Sankey, Springfield
Last season, Springfield midfielder Easton Sankey was one of just two sophomores to earn first-team all-Midwestern League recognition.
Aren Schneiter, Central Linn
Central Linn's Aren Schneiter earned Class 3A/2A/1A second-team all-state recognition as a junior in 2025 after helping the Cobras to a 7-5-1 overall record.
Davis Weed, Willamette
One of just two sophomores to earn first- or second-team all-Southwest Conference honors last season, Willamette defender Davis Weed could be poised for a big junior year.
Donovan Wilson, South Eugene
A standout junior who also plays for the Portland Timbers Academy, Donavan Wilson will have a big role in the South Eugene midfield this year, according to Axe coach Pete Peterson.
