The journey to the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards is about to begin.
The finalists for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5 p.m. ET during a live broadcast on the “Telemundo Entretenimiento” YouTube channel, as well as on Billboard and Billboard Español .

After the special broadcast, the complete list of finalists, the official press release and press materials will be made available to the media.
Known as the most prestigious and longest-running awards in Latin music, the Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami and will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards honor the top artists, albums and songs of the year, determined by actual sales, streaming, radio airplay and social data that inform Billboard ‘s weekly charts over a one-year period.
As is tradition, the awards will coincide with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week, which will return to the Faena Forum in Miami Beach Oct. 19-22. Now in its 37th edition, the weeklong even — recognized as the highest profile and most influential gathering in the Latin music industry — will include exclusive artist conversations, business panels with key executives, its celebrated Billboard En Vivo showcases and countless networking opportunities.
Last year, Bad Bunny was the big winner at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, taking home 11 trophies, including artist of the year. He was closely followed by Karol G and Fuerza Regida, who won six and five awards, respectively.
