Angel Reese has become one of the most popular stars of the WNBA, with a massive social media following and multiple brand partnerships or endorsements, including Reebok and Mattel.
On Monday night, her team, the Atlanta Dream, unveiled a special pink-themed Barbie Night for their matchup against the Las Vegas Aces, celebrating the release of Reese's very own Barbie doll.
"Even though we didn’t get the win, thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. Seeing an entire arena PINK for my very own Barbie was truly a dream come true. Since I’ve been in ATL, y’all have shown me nothing but love, and I’m so thankful for it. Keep showing up & supporting this team. #GoDream," Reese wrote .
Unfortunately, the Dream were unable to capture the win, falling in a rout to the defending champion Aces, 109-87. Reese finished with an impressive double-double on her special night, with 23 points and 16 rebounds.

Reese's Barbie doll features her likeness wearing a pink "Angel" jersey, shorts, socks, and a headband while holding a pink basketball . The doll, created by Mattel, sold out quickly last week, making it a rare addition to Barbie collections.
"Honestly, I didn't have a lot of dolls [growing up], because I didn't have dolls that looked like me much," she told the media yesterday regarding her childhood. "That's why I wanted to make sure this was super intentional, because now they have dolls that look like you ... but also you can be a killer on the court as well."
Along with the doll, Reebok released her special sneaker, the "Angel Reese 1: Barbie," which is available in different colorways and sells for various prices at the official Reebok website .
Having her own doll and sneakers are likely dreams come true for Dreese, but another could be on the way. The Atlanta Dream are among the eight teams eligible for the WNBA Playoffs if the season ended today.
Much of that success is boosted by Reese's contributions as she's averaging 15.8 points and 11.6 rebounds this season, and if she continues this pace, it would be the third season in her career with a double-double average. It would be the first season of her career where she's reached the postseason, after two years of struggling with the Chicago Sky near the bottom of the WNBA standings.
Next up for the Atlanta Dream will be another home game, as they host the Phoenix Mercury with their recent trade acquisition, Kelsey Plum, on Wednesday evening.
