"This guy, MarShawn. I feel like a lot of people forgot what he's capable of," Williams told Carson Fowler of WRFV-TV in Green Bay. "He shows up on a daily basis and puts in the work, and he's flying a million miles an hour."
After playing in just one game over his first two seasons, Lloyd has made it through the entire offseason workout program and four training camp practices without an injury issue. And if healthy, Lloyd -- a 2024 third-round pick who has explosive movement ability and potential as a receiver -- could emerge as a legitimate playmaker at running back for the Packers offense.
"He's had some bad breaks as far as injuries go. But people have started to write him off, and he's going to turn some heads this year," Williams said.
If Lloyd breaks out, the Packers would have a dynamic 1-2 punch at running back, with veteran Josh Jacobs leading the way and Lloyd providing the explosive and versatile element behind him.
