He misses a lot of bats, recording a 28.8% strikeout rate for the season. Another positive is that he has limited opponents to just a 34.2% hard-hit rate. Scott is lined up to start against the Guardians and Pirates next week, making him one of the top streaming targets to consider.
After a brief rough patch, Montgomery has ranked up his production at the plate lately. Across his last 14 games, he is 15-for-52 (.288) with a .373 OBP, 12 RBI, and eight runs scored. During that stretch, he had a 10.2% walk rate to go along with his 18.6% strikeout rate.
