The Cincinnati Bengals cut offensive lineman Cody Ford on Aug. 24, according to multiple reports.
Ford, a swing tackle on the Bengals' offensive line, struggled in Cincinnati's Aug. 22 preseason game against the Chicago Bears . Head coach Zac Taylor voiced concerns for the team's depth along the offensive line following the contest.
Ford, seen exiting Paycor Stadium in street clothes on Aug. 24 prior to the team's training camp practice that afternoon, was entering his eighth season in the NFL. His last three seasons were in Cincinnati, and he appeared in 50 games while starting just 10.
The NFL Network's Mike Garafolo first reported that Ford had been cut.
The Enquirer will update this report.
