The field at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan will battle it out for $10 million, with $1.8 million going to the winner. With two weeks to go until the FedEx Cup Playoffs, plenty of notables are teeing it up this week to stay in a groove before the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. Cameron Young, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth are among the notables playing this week.
Aldrich Potgieter is the event's defending champion, claiming his first PGA Tour title in a five-hole playoff last year. Jackson Koivun, the 21-year-old who won his third start as a professional Sunday, is also expected to tee it up at Detroit Golf Club.
