The "NFL Top 100 Players" is an annual NFL offseason tradition. There are a few names from the Kansas City Chiefs expected to make the cut, but there are also many opponents featured in this year's rankings. Player No. 28 is a player they are scheduled to see across from them this coming season.
No. 28 is New England Patriots defensive back Christian Gonzalez.

— NFL (@NFL) August 11, 2026 Gonzalez started all 14 games he played for the Patriots in 2025, finishing the season with 69 total tackles (54 solo), 10 pass deflections, and only allowing 2 touchdowns. He earned his first Pro Bowl appearance and was a catalyst in the Patriots' AFC title run.
Gonzalez and the Patriots will visit the Chiefs in Week 15 on Monday, December 21, at Arrowhead Stadium.
