Klay Thompson is now a Miami Heat player, which is a big positive for the team. They desperately needed a boost with their perimeter shooting beyond Tim Hardaway Jr. Now, Thompson not only provides that shooting, but he also improves their championship pedigree with his four rings.
Of course, most people know about him for his success with the Golden State Warriors . He formed a deadly partnership with Stephen Curry there, but that ended when Klay joined up with Kyrie Irving on the Dallas Mavericks . Unfortunately, that did not end up working properly. Instead of returning to the Warriors , it seems Thompson likes it better if he plays for the Heat .
Jason Williams sees Klay Thompson as the shooter the Heat needed
Since he will always be connected to the Warriors, many thought that he could return to the Bay Area and go on one final run with Steph and Draymond Green. Unfortunately for the Warriors, that is not the case because Thompson wants to win a championship, and he feels the Heat are the best chance he could get.
Considering he will be playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, it is a good decision because they will always have an opportunity to shine with that kind of lineup.

Since he left the Warriors, there have been rumors floating around that he fell out with the team as well. Now, the Heat will be enjoying his services because he has all the tools to become the shooter that the Heat will utilize to succeed in the competitive Eastern Conference. Former Heat champion Jason Williams is hyped about this new addition.
"Just what the Heat needed, bruh! That’s going to take them to a different level. Klay Thompson has a lot left in the tank! Pat Riley, you done did it again," Williams said about the new addition .
If Thompson continues to showcase his shooting, this Heat team could be one of the most dangerous sides in the league. Antetokounmpo's gravity is huge for Miami, and with players like Thompson and Hardaway will be tough matchups.
