See the full story · 1 sourcesTrent Noah, Malachi Moreno, and Kam Williams sat down recently to interview their own teammate, Ousmane N’Diaye. They were picking his brain and getting some content that Big Blue Nation loves, and frankly, needs since we don’t know a whole lot about N’Diaye.
Moreno started by asking the big question: why Kentucky? N’Diaye said that he was considering multiple options for his next step, whether it be to stay in Europe, play college basketball, or pursue other avenues. Then, he shared that “everything sounded right to be here at Kentucky” after his first call with the staff.
Noah then brought up the fun question that many of the guys have been asked, “Where were you when you committed to Kentucky?”
N’Diaye’s response is one of the best responses we’ve received from the guys yet. We have heard of guys getting food, working out, or doing other things, but this is the first guy who has been at a movie theater when the big decision played out.
“I went to watch the Michael Jackson movie, and during the movie my agent texted me like, they’re going to tag you in the post and you have to accept it. Then, it happened during the movie.”
N’Diaye also added that he couldn’t even really focus on the movie anymore because of everything happening. It’s certainly a unique spot to have your decision announced, but hopefully he can provide some thriller-type moments for us fans at Kentucky this year!
