Brydon Carse has been included in Durham’s team for their County Championship match against Gloucestershire, despite being left out of England’s squad for the second Test against Pakistan at Lord’s. The 31-year-old fast bowler was dropped by England after a late-night incident in Derby, where he was arrested and later de-arrested. The matter has been referred to the Cricket Regulator, while Derbyshire Police are investigating “allegations of assault”.
