Giddy up!
Von Miller is a member of the Dallas Cowboys , the linebacker announced via an Instagram post on Sunday, Aug. 16.
“Hereee Weee Gooo," Miller posted as the caption for a gallery with a photoshopped image of himself in a No. 40 Cowboys uniform and a 2006 photo of himself from his playing days as a member of the DeSoto High School Eagles.
The Cowboys confirmed that they have agreed to terms with the 15-year veteran. Miller played for the Cowboys' NFC East rival, the Washington Commanders last season.
ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter reported the news on his X account , noting that Miller is returning to his home state where he also played college football at Texas A&M.

Miller was drafted by the Denver Broncos as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 draft. He was named the Defensive Rookie of the Year after notching 11.5 sacks and 64 combined tackles his first year. He was selected to the Pro Bowl eight times and was named to the first-team All-Pro roster three times in his time with Denver. In 2012, he had a career-high 18.5 sacks and finished his time with the Broncos as the franchise's sack leader with 110.5 quarterback tackles.
He missed the entire 2020 campaign due to a torn tendon in his ankle.
He won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos in 2016 and was named MVP of the game. He sacked Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton 2.5 times and had two strip-sacks. The defender then hoisted the Lombardi Trophy again for Super Bowl 56 in 2022 with the Los Angeles Rams, who acquired him in a blockbuster trade.
Miller has also spent three seasons with the Buffalo Bills before joining the Commanders last year as a free agent. Earlier this summer, he expressed regret at his choice because the other team wooing him was the Seattle Seahawks, the eventual Super Bowl 60 champions.
This offseason, when he was once again a free agent, Miller said he had a desire to return to the Broncos and even "lobbied" head coach Sean Payton to bring him back to the team where his professional career started.
