It may not be for long, but both the Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills are set to roll out their top names this weekend.
As announced by Bills head coach (and former Panthers offensive coordinator) Joe Brady, Buffalo plans on fielding their starters against the Panthers in Saturday's preseason contest. Brady told reporters on Thursday that "everyone that is healthy is going to be playing," including quarterback and 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player Josh Allen.
This follows suit with Carolina's plans, which were made clear by head coach Dave Canales this past Sunday . Canales stated that his starters will play somewhere between "10 and 20 plays" depending on how the drives unfold.
Quarterback Bryce Young, of course, is among that group—and he expressed his excitement for the opportunity.
"I'm excited to just be able to get out there with the guys," Young said during his post-practice presser on Sunday. "Anytime you get to play football, live in a stadium, it's a privilege. Especially being able to go out there last week, you're around it. Obviously, I wasn't playing—but you get that itch again."
Young and company will be able to scratch that itch with a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, from the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.
