Beaver Area's Jaivin Peel granted partial eligibility for 2026 season
Throughout the past several weeks, Beaver Valley high school football players had their eligibility decided for the 2026 season and on Tuesday, July 28, Beaver Area quarterback Jaivin Peel also had his hearing for the upcoming season.
During the hearing, Peel was granted partial eligibility for the upcoming season, allowing him to play in the regular season, but was deemed ineligible for postseason play.
Along with Peel, Moon Area’s Jance Henry and TyTy Claytor Jr. were also deemed ineligible at an earlier hearing on July 8. The other player that was granted eligibility was Dionte Henry Jr., who transferred from Sewickley Academy to Moon Area.
All players that were not granted eligibility can appeal to the PIAA for eligibility this season.
Here is a look at each player’s road to their respective Beaver Valley football programs in 2026.
Jaivin Peel, Beaver Area
Peel joined Beaver Area late in the 2025-26 school year after he transferred back to Lincoln Park earlier in the year following time at the Kiski School during his junior season.
The senior quarterback spent his freshman and sophomore years at the Midland-based charter school and played for Western Beaver as part of the school’s co-op. There, he was one of the top quarterbacks in the WPIAL, breaking the league’s freshman passing record by throwing for over 2,800 yards and 33 touchdowns.

He then threw for 2,542 yards in his sophomore campaign, completing 59 percent of his passes for 29 touchdowns.
Following his sophomore season, Peel transferred to the Kiski School where we spent part of his junior year before re-enrolling at Lincoln Park during the fourth or fifth game of the year in 2025. Peel later transferred to Beaver Area during the spring semester in 2026.
Jance Henry
After spending one season at Archbishop Hoban in Ohio, Henry transferred back into the WPIAL to Moon Area High School.
The senior Bowling Green commit spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Central Valley, where he ran for almost 1,700 yards, reaching the end zone 23 times. At Hoban, Henry rushed for 968 yards on 140 carries and nine touchdowns.
Tyrone Claytor Jr.
Claytor Jr., a transfer from South Allegheny, is considered one of the top athletes in the Class of 2029 after a strong first season of high school football. He currently holds eight Division I offers, including Miami (OH), Marshall, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.
Dionte Henry Jr.
Henry Jr. played his freshman season at Western Beaver before transferring to Sewickley Academy, playing as part of the Academy’s co-op with Moon Area. Henry also holds several Division I offers, including Miami (OH), Kent State and Bowling Green.
