Tennessee-Furman football game: TV announcers named

Tennessee will open its 2026 football season Saturday at Neyland Stadium . The Vols will host Furman (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. EDT and the nonconference matchup can be watched on SEC Network+.

Richard Cross (play-by-play), Max Starks (anlayst) and Ashlyn Sullivan (sideline) will be on the call.

Saturday will mark the third meeting all time between Tennessee and Furman. The Vols lead the football series, 2-0, dating to Sept. 20, 1941. Both contests were played in Knoxville.
