This is it: Tottenham Hotspur’s final preseason hit-out before kicking off their 2026/27 season. Spurs are taking on TSG Hoffenheim, last season’s fifth place in the Bundesliga.
Wait, haven’t we already done this one?
Yep, Spurs are playing Hoffenheim twice in less than 24 hours. After knocking off the German side 3-0 in a decisive win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs now welcome The Kraichgauers to the somewhat humbler locale of the Hotspur Way Training Centre as both sides look to finish their preseason campaign in style.
We are likely to see rest and rotation as Roberto De Zerbi looks to his wider squad following a huge effort from his “starters” yesterday… and perhaps the return of some more familiar faces.

Along those lines, outright abuse of players or match officials is also not allowed. It’s fine to say “wow, that was a really bad call,” but it’s NOT okay to direct copious amounts of abuse in the direction of said official over a call you did not like.
Treat other people in the match thread the way you would want someone else to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an un-moderated message board.
NO SPIDERS!
Finally, while we don’t have a rule against profanity, please try and keep the naughty words in check. Also, language that is sexist, racist, transphobic, or homophobic in nature will be swiftly deleted and you will be immediately banned. This is an open, supportive community.
