While Yan Diomande has dominated the headlines at Real Madrid today, with the forward set to become the club’s fifth signing , it is important to acknowledge what this means for Vinicius Jr.’s future.
The club are yet to finalise an agreement with the Brazilian international and with each passing day, it appears the forward may end up leaving Santiago Bernabeu.
Arsenal have emerged as the potential destination for Vinicius Jr. if he leaves Real Madrid and sure enough, the Gunners are ready to do everything possible to snap him up this summer.

According to bombshell report from The Telegraph , Arsenal are ready to break the bank to acquire the services of Vinicius Jr.
The Gunners are willing to offer the Brazilian a club-record salary of €470,00 per week, which would easily make him the highest paid player in the team.
This is quite the commitment for Arsenal as they look to shore up their frontline after winning the Premier League last season.
Arsenal’s desire to sign Vinicius is part of the club’s ambition to continue on their recent success under Mikel Arteta, with the team already boasting some of the talented players in England.
If Vinicius joins, he would join ranks alongside the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, adding more vigour to Arsenal’s final third.

The report suggests Arsenal are serious about signing Vinicius and it appears the Gunners are also aware of the factor that’s stopping the player from committing to a contract at Real Madrid.
Despite being involved in talks for months, Real Madrid have struggled to convince Vinicius to lower his salary demands and are not willing to meet his lofty wage package either.
After months of struggle, it appears Real Madrid have finally given up, which is perhaps why Los Blancos are now closing in on the capture of Yan Diomande.
The RB Leipzig winger is a like-for-like replacement for Vinicius and could be announced as soon as Monday, with the player expected to join training within the week.
