Thailand: Several killed in school shooting north of Bangkok
The shooting incident took place at the Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi, just north of the capital city of Bangkok. At least six people were killed in the attack.

Students, teachers and other workers were evacuated from school as authorities deployed police officers, rescue workers and emergency doctors to the scene.
According to the police, the shooter was a student at the school who opened fire on teachers and students before killing himself.
Royal Thai Police spokesperson Trairong Piwpan told Channel 3 News that three teachers and three students were killed.
Piwpan added that 15 others were injured, two of whom are in critical condition. He said the motive is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed his condolences and stated that he had instructed relevant officials to assist those affected.

According to district authorities, the Debsirin Nonthaburi School had an enrollment of around 3,100 students and 147 teachers in the 2025 academic year.
