Halftime observations
Still a few miscommunications at the back for Bayern Munich. You can tell that this is a second string defense.
Palinha is an absolute monster when it comes to winning the ball back. Are we sure Kompany can’t use him?
Haltime: Bayern Munich lead 2-1.
41’ — GOAL! Wonderful long range strike from outside the box by Bastian Assomo! 2-1.
35’ — Sub: Kim Min-jae off for Tim Binder. Is he injured? He did not seem to be.
15’ — Goal. Did Kim just get rainbow flicked? Lee Chang-min scores to make it 1-1.
11’ — GOAL! Huge scramble in the box, with Bayern playing pinball. Felipe Chávez finally strikes home past the Jeju SK goalkeeper.
5’ — As noted in the comments, all of those empty seats…wow.
1’ — Here we go! The game is underway.

Live stream
Bayern Munich will kick off the preseason Asia tour against Jeju SK, a midtable club in the top flight of South Korea’s K League. Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer, and Josip Stanišić are back with the team but a number of other World Cup stars will stay home to recover from the mental and physical strain of the crowded schedule.
Prediction
Bayern wins 9-0. The veterans will occupy most of the starting positions and focus on touches and possession rather than scoring. It will still be a 5-0 scoreline by halftime but the action will be mostly horizontal. Like clockwork, there will be a goal every 10 minutes in the second half. Vincent Kompany will be pleased with another clean sheet and no major injuries.
