The 1928 season was very bad for the Cardinals. They went 1-5.
They only scored seven points all season, but here is the crazy thing. They scored zero points on offense. Their only seven points came on an interception returned for a touchdown by Hal Erickson in a 7-0 win over Dayton.
They scored the fewest points in the league and allowed the second-most.
Their losses were 15-0, 20-0, 19-0 twice and 34-0.
