LSU football continues to make waves across the college football landscape as two players who had breif stints with NFL teams this summer have agreed to play for Lane Kiffin's Tigers -- former Ole Miss TE Dae'Quan Wright and former Ole Miss DT Zxavian Harris.
Courts issued rulings in favor of all three players under a ruling in Louisiana that granted several class of 2022 athletes another year of eligibility. The noise just adds to an offseason of chaos, starting with the hiring of Kiffin followed by the signing of the nation's top transfer portal class with over 40 players.
Should the trio don the purple and gold, LSU will experience heavy increases in experience across both sides of the ball. Wright gives the offense a huge target through the air alongside Trey'Dez Green, while Harris and Tuihalamaka provide much-needed depth to the defensive line, which is stacked with talented true freshmen.
It remains to be seen whether the former NFL rookies will play in Baton Rouge, but the college football world cannot stop commenting on their imminent signings with LSU.
