The Titans are scheduled to take the field for 16 practices, including three joint sessions ― one each against the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. All this leads up to NFL roster cut day on Aug. 30, when Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi will be tasked with culling the squad from the 91 players they'll carry throughout camp to 53 players on the active roster, plus a practice squad.

What to know about Thursday's practice
The Titans are scheduled to take the practice field on July 30 for their second training camp practice. Coach Robert Saleh is scheduled to address the media at 9:45 a.m. CT, and practice should begin at 10:15 a.m. After practice, it is anticipated that Jermaine Johnson II, Cor'Dale Flott and Dan Moore Jr. will speak with the media.

Robert Saleh on 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan's car crash
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, Robert Saleh's old boss at his previous job, suffered injuries in a car crash earlier this month in California.
Saleh has spoken to Shanahan since the crash, and said that "we're all very fortunate that (Shanahan is) still here."
"He looks great. Saw him on FaceTime a couple days ago," Saleh said. "The surgeon did a great job. Not easy for him to go through what he went through."

Titans have had 'positive conversations' with Peter Skoronski on contract extension
Mike Borgonzi said that he has had "positive conversations" with Peter Skoronski's reps about a contract extension.
Skoronski's rookie contract runs through the 2027 season.
Will Levis, Mitchell Trubisky will have camp battle for No. 2 QB job
Robert Saleh indicated that Will Levis and Mitchell Trubisky will be in a training camp battle for the No. 2 QB job.
"We'll give Will every opportunity to, him and Trubisky, in working for the No. 2 spot," Saleh said.
Mike Borgonzi said it's too early to say whether the team will keep three QBs on the 53-man roster.
Robert Saleh on training camp intensity: 'One of the more difficult, trying training camps for our guys'
Robert Saleh said that this training camp will be "one of the more difficult, trying training camps" for players.
"There's going to be a lot of volume, there's going to be a lot of contact," Saleh said.
Players will have to play through some soreness and not being completely 100%, the Titans coach said.
"If you feel like you're capable of playing on game day, you should be practicing," Saleh said.
" . . . After the first day of pads, there isn't a single player on the roster that's healthy for the rest of the year. They're hurt, they're dinged, they're bruised. You have all those things. And you just have to differentiate whether you're injured and you can't go or whether it's a nick or a bruise. And those are communications we'll have constantly."
JC Latham 'day-to-day' with pectoral injury
JC Latham is day-to-day, Mike Borgonzi said. He will remain on the PUP list.
Borgonzi indicated that Latham has been dealing with a pectoral injury.

Amani Hooker will come off PUP list
Amani Hooker will come off of the physically unable to perform list today, Mike Borgonzi said.
He'll be able to practice as camp opens up tomorrow.
