By commanding this 24-track project largely on his own, he delves into stories of his come-up, varied experiences with special women in his life, a tribute to his mother, and shows off his deep appreciation for the R&B, pop, alternative and hip-hop genres. He also tastefully samples some classic records from the 2000s and 2010s — with some unexpected, yet very welcome, choices of lifts.
