Usually, the maize and blue tend to have upperclassmen come to the signature media event of the offseason, which has often precluded the quarterback position. No quarterbacks came to the event under Jim Harbaugh, nor did any under Sherrone Moore. Yet, in Kyle Whittingham's first year, he brought sophomore signal-caller Bryce Underwood to Chicago for the series of press conferences.
