Former Denver Broncos legend Von Miller has found a home for the 2026 NFL season.
Miller will stay in the NFC East, signing with the Dallas Cowboys , ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported on Sunday evening.
Miller spent the 2025 season with the Washington Commanders , playing in 17 games (three starts), recording 9.0 sacks and 26 total tackles (16 solo, 10 assisted). In recent months, Miller has been extremely cryptic, posting pictures of himself in both Broncos and Cowboys jerseys , as well as posting workout videos on Instagram.
Miller was selected second overall in the 2011 NFL draft by the Broncos out of Texas A&M, and he had the most dominant years of his career in Denver. Miller was a part of the “No-Fly Zone” defense that propelled Denve the Broncos to their third title in franchise history. Miller himself was named MVP of Super Bowl 50.
Miller spent nearly 10 seasons with the Broncos from 2011-21 before being traded in the middle of the 2021 season to the Los Angeles Rams . Miller won a second Super Bowl with the Rams , but has struggled to find a permanent home since leaving Colorado.
Miller played with the Buffalo Bills from 2022-24, before signing with Washington last fall. Over his decorated career, Miller has played in 203 games (164 starts), recording 138.5 sacks, 607 total tackles (462 solo, 145 assisted, 177 tackles for loss), forcing 24 fumbles, nine fumble recoveries (including one for a touchdown), and intercepting two passes (returning one for a touchdown), per Pro Football Reference . Miller is also an eight-time Pro Bowler, 2011 Defensive Rookie of the Year, and a seven-time AP All-Pro.
Despite him wearing Cowboys blue and many other colors, Miller will always and forever be remembered as a Bronco .
