One Bet to Watch for Every NFL Team in 2026
Every NFL fanbase begins the season the same way – convinced that they have fixed last year’s problems, and that this year is finally their year.
OK, well maybe we exclude Browns fans from that group after the organization named Deshaun Watson the team’s Week 1 starter Monday morning. Still, fans around the league are excited to have football back, and bettors are looking for a few futures that could be worth adding to their portfolio before the regular season begins on September 9.
Below, we take a look at one futures bet that could have value for each NFL team ahead of Week 1. And you can always check out our Bet Tracker to see all our team’s best bets or find your own bets in the Prop Shop .
Since 2021, five teams have finished a regular season with a -1.9 differential or worse between their estimated wins and actual wins. All five of those teams have improved their record by multiple wins the following season. Better injury luck than last fall could aid the Cardinals in getting over their 2026 win total, too.
Atlanta Falcons
Drake London Over 1,099.5 Regular Season Receiving Yards

Drake London only managed 919 receiving yards last year, but that was partly a consequence of missing five games. His 76.6 receiving yards per game ranked seventh in the NFL. The Falcons didn’t add any notable pass-catching options this offseason, so London should be in line for another big workload.
Baltimore Ravens
Under 11.5 Regular Season Wins

Baltimore has one of the easiest projected schedules for 2026, being favored in 13 games according to preseason odds. That said, this is a roster led by an oft-injured quarterback, a running back on the wrong side of 30 years old and a brand new coaching staff. It might not be all smooth sailing this fall in Baltimore.
Buffalo Bills
DJ Moore to Have 1,000 Regular Season Receiving Yards

Buffalo’s passing attack hasn’t yielded a 1,000-yard receiver since Stefon Diggs in 2023. DJ Moore is the most talented wideout the organization has rostered since Diggs – he should immediately become Josh Allen’s favorite target.
Carolina Panthers
To Miss Playoffs

The Panthers are only favored in two games this fall, per preseason betting odds. Bryce Young ranked 31st in EPA/play and 27th in success rate last fall among 40 quarterbacks to play at least 200 snaps. This is a roster that is one or two injuries away from looking at a top-five pick in next summer’s draft.
Chicago Bears
NFC North finishing position: 4th

If you read my Early NFL Win Totals , you already know I am low on the Bears for 2026. Ben Johnson may be too smart to let this roster completely bottom out, but Caleb Williams is one of the league’s most volatile quarterbacks, and defensive regression could hit this group hard after finishing +22 in turnover differential last season.
Cincinnati Bengals
AFC 1 Seed

Joe Burrow and the offense are healthy heading into 2026. The offensive line returns completely intact, and the organization finally invested in some defensive reinforcements. Could a weak projected schedule be enough to propel Cincinnati to the top seed in the AFC?
Cleveland Browns
0 Wins After Their First 5 Games

Since Deshaun Watson arrived in Cleveland, he ranks 56th in EPA/play and 57th in success rate out of 58 quarterbacks to play at least 500 snaps. The Browns are underdogs in each of their first five games this fall, three of which will be played on the road.
Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott led one of the league’s most prolific offenses in 2025, but the Cowboys missed the playoffs due to a historically bad defense. The big pieces return on the offensive side of the ball for 2026, and the defense has plenty of new pieces after a strong offseason. Cowboys fans always think this year is their year, but this year , they might be correct?
Denver Broncos
To Make Playoffs

Sean Payton has made the playoffs in six of his last eight seasons as a head coach. Bo Nix looks healthy this preseason and Jayden Waddle adds some much-needed explosive-play potential to this offense. What isn’t to like?
Detroit Lions
NFC 1 Seed

Center Cade Mays will begin the year on the sidelines after a preseason injury, but it looks like he could be back following the team’s Week 6 bye. The good news for the Lions is that they face the Saints, Jets, Panthers and Cardinals prior to their bye – winnable games, regardless of their injury report. This team has as much talent as any team in the NFL when healthy.
Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love continues to be one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL. If Green Bay returns a healthy Micah Parsons in time for the playoffs, should they really be 22:1 to win the Super Bowl?
Houston Texans
DeMeco Ryans — Coach of the Year

C.J. Stroud seemingly lost all of his public credibility as an NFL quarterback when he threw four interceptions against the Patriots in the Divisional Round against the Patriots. If the Texans experience success in 2026, the media is likely going to look for someone else (not Stroud) to honor with end-of-season hardware.
Indianapolis Colts
Shane Steichen First NFL Coach Fired 2026

The market hasn’t been posted yet, but when it does get posted, Shane Steichen might be worth a stab here. The Colts are one of the most micro-managed organizations in the league and a brutal opening schedule against the Ravens, Chiefs, Texans, and Commanders could lead to an 0-4 start – which might give ownership reason to move on from their current head coach.
