Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Bud Clark was carted off the field during the first quarter of Sunday’s preseason Week 2 action against the Tennessee Titans.
On a first down run play less than four minutes into the game, Clark jumped over a player on the ground and appeared to have another player collide with his leg. It’s unclear based on TV angles where exactly it caught him, but he was immediately down in pain, calling for trainers after.
The entire team came out to wish him well as he was carted off. Here’s a video from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, courtesy of the Tacoma News Tribune’s Gregg Bell via X:

Losing Jake Bobo was the first crushing blow of the 2026 campaign, and Clark would be the second just two days later. We at Seahawks Wire extend our best wishes and prayers to both at this time. More info on Clark’s situation will certainly be inquired for in the postgame press conference and in the coming days, but for now, continuing to deal with this situation will expose the team's depth for better or worse. AJ Finley and Rodney Thomas II are the next men up in the safety room.
