A recent report from Diario AS has offered comprehensive details about Real Madrid’s financial model, which underpins their aggressive spending.
The club closed the 2025-26 financial year with record figures, announcing operating revenue of €1.221 billion and consolidating their position as the financial leaders in world sport.
Much of that growth was driven by commercial income and the operation of their completely renovated stadium.
The new Santiago Bernabeu has proven transformative, with revenue rising 11% to €363 million as the venue increasingly hosts concerts, events and experiences beyond football. Marketing and sponsorship income, meanwhile, grew by 6 percent to €539 million.
The numbers elsewhere were equally impressive, with the club posting an EBITDA of €287 million and a net profit of €26.3 million, an 8 percent increase on the previous year.

A crucial pillar of Real Madrid’s model is their ability to secure lucrative, long-term commercial partnerships that provide stable, predictable revenue.
Shortly before the World Cup, the club renewed two of their most significant deals. The agreement with Emirates was extended until 2031, with figures potentially reaching €100 million annually, a record among European clubs.
The partnership with Adidas, meanwhile, was extended until 2034, with that deal reportedly worth as much as €120 million per year.
Those renewals reflect relationships built over decades, with Emirates having partnered the club since 2011 and Adidas since 1998. That predictability protects Real Madrid from market fluctuations and conveys the kind of stability that attracts further investment.
