Wallace was drafted 68th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft after spending four seasons at Penn State. He began his NFL career in 2024 and appeared in six games. He suffered an ankle injury that caused him to miss the rest of the year.
With Mike Vrabel taking over as head coach in 2025, the team tried Wallace out at guard last season. However, he never found a consistent role on offense, and things weren't looking any better through at least 12 days of training camp practice.

Wallace undoubtedly had potential, but injuries forced him to miss extended action. The Patriots have been trying to rework their offensive line over the past couple of seasons, and Wallace’s release certainly reflects that. The team has not had the best luck in drafting offensive linemen, and this is just another example of those issues.
