According to Joe Person of The Athletic , the team is signing outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon. The 27-year-old defender appeared in one game for the Panthers during the 2025 campaign.
A Hoover, Ala. native and University of Florida product, Moon cracked into the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. He'd log his first regular-season snap a year later in 2023, where he recorded one start over eight contests.
After going on to play in 13 games with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, Moon landed in Carolina in October of 2025—signing on to their practice squad. His lone appearance came in the Panthers' Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers , where he tallied six snaps on special teams.
Moon then spent the rest of the 2025 season back in Pittsburgh, after the Steelers signed him away from Carolina's practice squad.
