Not just invited as a fan, however, TNA included in their message to LeBron via X that they would also like the NBA superstar to serve as the honorary titleholder of their TNA World Championship during the show’s main event.
The main event is the company’s current champion and longtime wrestling veteran, Nic Nemeth, who is set to go one-on-one with one of pro wrestling’s icons and one-half of the company’s tag team champions, Jeff Hardy.

While it’s been over two decades, there was once a time when LeBron James took over the spotlight at a wrestling event, going back to an episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw in Cleveland in 2003.
Fans will recall this 23-year-old episode because it is also the day the infamous LeBron James fliphone meme was born.
Since then, there hasn’t been any known activity of LeBron or the James family at any wrestling events, although in 2013, James took to his X account (then Twitter) to ask how he could acquire a WWE Championship belt.
To his surprise, both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena , two of the company’s biggest stars, replied to James, telling the then Miami Heat star they would make sure he received a real championship belt.
Fast forward several weeks, and LeBron would post a huge thank-you to WWE via Instagram for securing him and his Miami teammates legitimate WWE Championship belts.
TNA’s Offer
It’s unclear whether James will accept TNA’s offer to appear at their TV taping in Philadelphia.
However, some fans seem to think the company may be biting off more than they can chew by inviting the NBA’s all-time leading scorer to sit ringside and hold their championship belt.
Still, stranger things have happened in the pro wrestling world, so it isn’t something to be ruled out completely.
