Michigan State is in the middle of their first fall camp in the Pat Fitzgeral era of Spartan football. The team is gearing up for the season as a whole, and in particularly their season opener against Toledo.
While a ton of new faces will be on the roster this season, with 29 incoming transfers to go along with 21 freshmen, one familiar face will still be leading the back end of the MSU defense. Nikai Martinez was granted a fifth year of eligibility and will be spending it in East Lansing.
After transferring in from UCF, this will be Martinez's third season in East Lansing, and being a senior leader and captain, he will be relied upon heavily to lead MSU in 2026.
On Wednesday, it was Martinez's turn to be mic'd up and he put on a good show for the fans in the clip shared by the Michigan State football social media:
